Introduction
Art direction for a brand partnership campaign between Coca-Cola & Panda Express
At Dedica Group, I was tasked with developing one of three art directions that was going to be pitched for a Coca-Cola & Panda Express partnership campaign. The art direction I did focused on combining classic Coca-Cola & Panda Express symbolism with photography.
I created an icon for this direction that plays with negative space - showing Panda Express's panda hugging the Coca-Cola bottle.
I combined the 2 brands' identity by creating a simple imagery of panda holding onto a bamboo tree - which is the Coca-Cola's iconic dynamic ribbon. The combination is simple yet adorable and iconic - you can see both brands in the lockup.

To expand upon the idea, I created another lockup with a Panda Express rice bowl with Coca-Cola's dynamic ribbon as the steam / fragrance of the rice.
